Dr. Asif Kadri is Head of Diabetes and Foot Care Center at Ittefaq Hospital (Trust). He offers his services at Chughtai Medical Center also in the evening. Diabetes Foot-Care, Sexual Dysfunction and Human Nutrition are the major areas of his interest.
He Graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College with a bag full of Gold Medal and distinctions, and acquired his Membership of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and his Diploma in Diabetes Management (D.Diab) from baqai Medical University, again with a Gold Medal. He completed his Diploma in Diabetes from Diabetes UK, and his refresher certificate form Weil Cornell Medical College Qatar.
His has numerous research publications and poster on diabetes, nutrition for diabetes and sexual dysfunction is widely acknoledged.
Dr. Kadri has special training and expertise in the management of Diabetic Foot, and runs a Diabetic Foot Care Center for the last 9 Years.
He founded Diabetes Foundation, Which is “Not for Profit” and is its president for life social welfare organization, which works for improvement of diabetes care in general, but focuses especially on health education of people with Diabetes in Pakistan.
He is popular speaker on diabetes care at national and international scientific forums and is currently conducting several research projects also.
He participates regularly on the electronic media in program relating to patient education.
He has also presented a weekly radio program on various dimensions of Punjabi Language Art and Culture from FM 95 Punjab Rung for two years in 2010-11.
